Yes it's almost that time of year again when we get to see the best of the best in couture showcase their designs. The Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture Week schedule is due to kick off today in Paris which is set to be busier than ever. Proving that couture isn't dying, Chucri Cavalcanti, managing director at Elie Saab, told WWD: "We believe that 2011 will be the year that marks the end of the crisis, and should show some serious growth in our couture sales."

I'm sure plenty of celebs and stylists will be keeping an eye out this season for what they can wear to the upcoming Academy Awards. Let the grandeur begin!
