Prince William and Kate Middleton to be snapped by Mario Testino
For her first royal portrait Kate Middleton, along with Prince William, were photographed by Mario Testino.
The famed photographer is already well acquainted with the royal family, after capturing candid shots of Princess Diana for Vanity Fair in 1997. He also snapped Prince William on his 21st birthday and Prince Charles for his official Christmas card this year. The portrait of the soon-to-be newlyweds is set to be unveiled before 25th December.
The shoot of Kate and Wills is believed to have been taken last month after the couple announced their engagement. "William is a very photogenic person... self-confident, relaxed, impressive - and so much like his mother," Testino said recently. "I think it comes from a sense of security."
