Prince William and Kate Middleton's official royal portraits by Mario Testino
Behold the first official engagement portraits of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Photographed by fashion photographer Mario Testino, the portraits are a step away from tradition showing the couple in an affectionate and happy embrace. Captured just nine days after they announced they were engaged, Testino has been chosen to be photographer for other royals including Princess Diana.
"They are in their prime and brimming with happiness. I have never felt so much joy as when I see them together," Testino said.
In the photos, taken at Clarence House, William wears William is dressed in Turnbull & Asser suit, shirt and tie while Kate wears a cream Reiss dress and Links earrings. For the more casual photo (above the cut) Wil styles it up in jeans and a beige cashmere jumper by Brunello Cucinelli, while Kate dons a Whistles blouse and jeans.
