Lanvin for H&M hits the catwalk!
Hitting the runway for the first time was Alber Elbaz's debut Lanvin for H&M collection.
The Lanvin (Heart) H&M show was held at the Pierre Hotel in New York in front of celebs, fashion editors and bloggers. Choosing 20 looks, Elbaz customised each look with bows, fabric flowers, necklaces, netting and hats.
He also worked in men's pieces to add a touch of eccentricity. He also recruited models and friends to wear the outfits to show its versatility - for anyone, at any age.
"We took a lot of things from our collection and translated them differently," Elbaz said. "It's nice to have some models and friends of different generations and body types."
Asked who else would be walking in tonight's show, he said, "That's a surprise."
The collection will go on sale in the UK at 9am on November 23rd both in shore and online at h&m.com
