Jonathan Saunders to design for Escada
Expanding his collaboration repertoire is Jonathan Saunders. The London-based designer has inked a deal with Escada to create a collection for its Sport label as part of its resort 2012 offering.
The Scottish Designer of the Year will design 20 pieces across the label including leather accessories. It will be unveiled via presentations in London and Paris next June. It is his latest partnership, having worked as ready-to-wear director at Pollini, as well as contributing collections for Target and Topshop.
"I think it's a great fit as the line is about cool femininity, relaxed chic, modern shapes and color," Saunders said.
Escada is known for its casual-yet-cool collections. I wonder what delectable creations Saunders will come up with this time.
