larastone_vogueevent.jpgLara Stone has won a legal victory against French Playboy. In July the model sued the magazine and photographer, Greg Lotus, after they published photos of her without her permission.

"Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorised photographs," she said at the time. "It's not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation.''

Stone has now won the case and been awarded significant damages. Playboy has also been ordered to to publish a prominent legal statement in their next edition of the magazine confirming the court's decision.

''I'm very pleased to have won the case, although of course I would rather not have had to take legal action at all,'' Stone said of the ruling.
