We have already given you plenty of Alexa Chung's debut line for Madewell to lust after, but so far we haven't heard her talk much about it... until now. Teen Vogue sat down with the model-turned-TV-presenter for their November issue to discuss how the collaboration came about. "I only heard about Madewell when I was back in England and my old flatmate Jim started working for them, and he told he'd seen me on one of their mood boards," she reveals. As for what influenced the collection, Alexa references books she read as a young child such as Enid Blyton's Malory Towers, with "elements of the groupie lifestyle". Also look out for her own illustrations incorporated into t-shirt designs. Watch the clip above for more.

Also in this month's Teen Vogue... Lauren Conrad on her new TV show and fashion line.
