amywinehouse_ppq.jpgIn the lead-up to the launch of her debut collection for Fred Perry, Amy Winehouse has been gabbing to the press about what we can expect.

First announced in March, the capsule range will comprise of 17 pieces which have been inspired by the '40s and '50s. "I played Rizzo in Grease when I was a kid at school, and I've always worn bowling shirts and things like classic trench coats," she said.

Winehouse will also be modelling the clothes for the collection's campaign. "Fred Perry is my be-all and end-all. I've always loved it, always worn it, it feels like a living dream," she added. "I'm not really skinny but I'm tiny and I couldn't get anything because they didn't do a size 6."

As for what took so long for the line to come to fruition, she reveals: "I went through a lot of trouble with my ex-husband, so I had such a long time to think about the collection." Tell us, are you keen to see it?
