Sarah Jessica Parker & Kate Moss attend Alexander McQueen memorial
It hasn't been a year since Alexander McQueen tragically passed away, but a plethora of famous friends of the late designer turned out yesterday to attend a memorial service for the late designer including Sarah Jessica Parker, who appeared visibly upset. Others in attendance were Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Stella McCartney, and Daphne Guinness were just a few of the celebrities to pay tribute to McQueen.
Giving a speech to the congregation at St. Paul's Cathedral at the memorial was Anna Wintour, who said: "As a child he loved nothing more than sitting on the roof top and watching birds fly by. His final collection was a battle between dark and light. His was an 18-year career of harnessing his dreams and demons."
While Bjork performed a rendition of Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday" dressed in an angel McQueen costume. Guests then exited the service to the sound of bagpipes playing the theme to Braveheart.
