Update: H&M have confirmed today that they are, in fact, working with Lanvin on their next designer collaboration. A womenswear collection will be designed by Alber Elbaz and a menswear line will be created by Lucas Ossendrijver. Due to launch on 23rd November, 2010, Elbaz says he is "intrigued" by the notion of H&M going luxury, as oppose to Lanvin going mass-market.

Speculation is growing that H&M's next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin. The whispers begun after the retailer released a series of teaser videos on their YouTube channel. The clips feature designer types, whose faces are obscured, leaving us hanging to know just who it is. While names like Vivienne Westwood and Rick Owens have been bandied about, the overall consensus seems to point towards Alber Elbaz of Lanvin.

This is also based on reports from WWD, which reveal that H&M are due to unveil a project with Lanvin "within the next week." Needless to say, if this is true it would be ah-ma-zing! Check out the teaser video above. Tell us, what do you think of this?
