Alice Temperley was back in the states for her Temperley London Spring 2011 presentation, and at the hipstery downtown venue Milk Studios to be exact. While always feminine, the collection was a little less sweet than usual, with more earth tones and sharply delineated contrasts in texture. Sharp pleats and metallic knits that looked like chainmail. There were a lot of grown up, womenly silhouettes. But fear not, there were plenty of girlish white dresses as well. The detail of this collection really kicks it up a notch from previous showings.
