I am a big fan of Michael Angel. In the past he's shown very wearable silhouettes, really sharp and feminine. This season he went much more architectural and avant garde. This collection was perhaps more about artistic expression than wardrobe pieces. But his amazing digital prints, this season with sparkles, ensured that there were some lust-worthy items in the mix. His take on the sheer trend is far more modern and minimalist than most of what we're seeing on the runways this season, helping him stand apart from the pack. Unfortunately, I think the rest of the pack has a better chance of selling their clothes to stores and consumers.
