Not even the miserable weather outside could dampen the excitement surrounding Marios Schwab's debut collection for Halston. The British designer, along with Halston chief creative officer, Sarah Jessica Parker, provided a "bare Summer skin" environment with the help of 24 models. Just like at the Marc Jacobs show, the Seventies were definitely still alive and kicking at Halston's S/S '11 presentation. Featuring cut-aways, Grecian draping, sheath dresses, and one-shoulder numbers. Schwab's colour palette of light blush, coral and white was sourced from wild orchids. "Wild orchids are so rare and seductive, and that's what the Halston woman should be," he said.
