Halle Berry scores the September 2010 issue of Vogue US
To mark their most important issue of the year, Anna Wintour chose Halle Berry to grace the cover of Vogue's September '10 issue. Believe it or not, the last time a black woman appeared on a September cover for US Vogue was way back in 1989 with Naomi Campbell.
Sporting a bob instead of her usual crop, the actress admitted she only agreed to doing an interview after staying out of the spotlight for so long because Vogue made her an offer she couldn't refuse.
"What that means for a woman of color and what that means in the fashion world, what that means to pop culture, there was no way I could say, 'No, I'm not going to be on the biggest issue of the year'," she said. What do you think of their choice of cover girl?
