Grace Coddington to pen memoir
Vogue's creative director, and star of The September Issue, Grace Coddington is writing a memoir. According to WWD, the famous red head will be assisted by Jay Fielden, former editor-in-chief of Men's Vogue.
"We're just starting, and I think it's going to be a really fun project," she told WWD, adding: "I'm hoping it's going to be very rich in fashion history. It's more than just about me."
Coddington decided to pen a memoir after being approached by agents and publishers, who were looking to further her fame created by The September Issue. The book is set to cover her early modelling days during the '60s, the car accident that changed her life and her career path, and her journey through the ranks at American Vogue. This isn't the first time that she has written a book, Coddington has also published Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue and The Catwalk Cats.
