Diary Date: Vivienne Westwood's first shoe exhibition
If you're a shoe lover, then you won't want to miss this exhibition of Vivienne Westwood's iconic shoes at Selfridges. It's the first time that the British designer has showcased her shoes, from across four decades.
Due to open tomorrow, the exhibition features 200 footwear. Some of the shoes on display include those memorable purple platforms which forced Naomi Campbell to spectacularly tumble on the catwalk in 1993. You will also see those famous Westwood Pirate boots, which first appeared in 1981, but are still favoured by fashionistas today.
Vivienne Westwood Shoes: An Exhibition 1973-2010 opens 26th August at Selfridges and is free entry.
