And the bride wore Vera Wang: Chelsea Clinton weds childhood sweetheart
All the world's attention turned to Rhinebeck in New York State over the weekend, as Chelsea Clinton married her long-time sweetheart, Marc Mezvinsky. Overlooking the Hudson River, America's 'Royal wedding' was held at Astor Courts in front of 500 guests. As speculated, Chelsea wore a gorgeous romantic gown created by Vera Wang from silk tulle and laser-cut organza.
Her dress featured a criss-cross bodice, a crystal and pearl embrodiered silver sash, and layers of skirt which swirled around her. She teamed her look with a long tulle veil, and her jewellery was kept simple - a pair of diamond earrings and a tennis bracelet. Overall, the fashion critics have been impressed, and so have I. Simply stunning!
Funnily enough, mum-to-be Alicia Keys also got married on the weekend in Vera Wang.
