Haute Couture Week: Chanel's roaring collection
The claws were out at Haute Couture Week last night with an impressive show from Chanel. Models paraded around a 45 foot high gold lion statue which took centre stage as a tribute to Coco Chanel's love of big cats.
Highlights from Karl Lagerfeld's collection included classic tweed coats with fur lined pocket detail as well as a range of dresses elegantly embellished with beads, velvet trim and brass buttons.
The show was watched by celebrities including Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
