A private service will be held for the late designer on Monday 20th September at St. Paul's Cathedral.
Instead of a public service, the Gucci Group confirmed that the memorial will be just for family, friends and colleagues of McQueen.
Little else is known about the event, but at this stage it seems it will be closed to anyone not immediately connected to McQueen or his family. McQueen died in February after taking his own life in his London home.
