Sun shines down on Glastonbury - wellies not needed?!
Thousands of music fans descended upon Somerset yesterday for the start of the Glastonbury music festival, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. But instead of the usual rain and mud, they were greeted with sunshine - a welcome sight with high temperatures forecast for the three-day event. So does this mean that Wellingtons, the Glasto fashion staple, will be obsolete this year? Don't bet on it.
Many of the revellers to arrive were already sporting designer wellies, Topshop print dresses, Barbour jackets, denim cut-off shorts, and straw trilby hats.
Hundreds of acts are set to perform at this year's festival, they include the Gorillaz, Muse, and Stevie Wonder. There will also be plenty of opportunities to celeb-spot, with many of London's starlets expected to attend the event.
I wonder if Kate Moss will be one of them?
