katieholmes_talksupnewlabel.jpgWith two years in the making, Katie Holmes is revealing a bit more of her clothing label, Holmes & Yang. The label, which she created with friend and stylist Jeanne Yang, is based on staple pieces from Holmes' own wardrobe.

"We want to create pieces a woman can wear over and over, and people won't necessarily say, 'Oh, you wore that last week,'" Holmes told Elle.com.

Their collection, which they describe as "classics with a twist," features blouses, trousers, jumpsuits, skirts, and cocktail dresses, that is aimed at the high-end of the market (e.g. $945 for a blouse). The actress has also created a few matching styles for her daughter Suri's age group. "They [Suri and other girls her age] love matching Mom," Holmes said. "And it's a limited time during which they really want to."
