As the Sex and the City 2 glitterati rolled into town overnight, all eyes were glued on Sarah Jessica Parker and her choice of outfit - which didn't disappoint! SJP took the opportunity to pay homage to her late friend, Alexander McQueen, in a black corseted gown featuring a dramatic bubble hem from his spring '08 collection.
Of course it wouldn't be a McQueen ensemble without some extravagant headwear from Philip Treacy, who provided the actress with a giant sparkly net headpiece. The final touch was a black armband to signify the loss of the designer, which completed a truly breath-taking look. It goes without saying that Sarah, who will present McQueen with a tribute award at the CFDA Awards next month, sure did him proud. To find out what the rest of the fab four wore, click on...

Adding some colour to her outfit this time was Cynthia Nixon. She still kept things fairly simple in a teal asymmetrical dress by Narciso Rodriguez and silver box clutch.

Taking over the gold glitz from Kim Cattrall was Kristin Davis, who amped up the sex factor in another vintage knock-out. The 1960s number designed by Norman Norell was a great choice for the actress, who oozed glamour on what was a mostly miserable London afternoon.

While Cattrall, like SJP, also opted for a black strapless corset gown. The vintage design by Thierry Mugler was a great choice for the 53-year-old, who accessorised with a Fred Leighton brooch and jewels.
