Yes, it's finally here! The long-awaited Sex and the City 2 sequel has arrived, along with four of the most fab ladies ever to grace our screens. Much to the delight of fans, this time the world premiere for the flick was given to New York - the home of SATC, instead of London, as was the case for the first film. Of course, just what Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte chose to wear for such a momentous occasion was the question on everyone lips.

Sarah Jessica Parker didn't disappoint in a neon yellow asymmetrical gown from the Valentino Couture Spring 2010 collection. Going back to her Carrie blonde locks, SJP didn't opt to wear Halston, but instead went for the brightest number that we've seen on her in a long time. Sadly her shoes weren't quite so fab.

Kristin Davis also chose a bright colour in strapless pink vintage chiffon dress from Jean Desses. Her hair was beautifully swept up, and her make up kept clean and simple. She accessoried with a Judith Leiber clutch, Fred Leighton jewels, and Christian Louboutin heels.

Bringing the colour level down a notch was Cynthia Nixon, in a black structured strapless Carolina Herrera gown. Also looking a little lighter on top, Cynthia went for the safe option but still looked elegant.

Living up to her saucy on-screen character, Kim Cattrall took the moment to shine her brightest. In a plunging gold Naeem Khan floor-length gown, the 53-year-old sparkled like her sunflower print dress against a rainy background.

As for the boys, well they refused to be upstaged by their leading ladies. Chris Noth (a.k.a Mr Big) attended the red carpet with a gorgeous accessory, his stunning wife Tara Wilson. While John Corbett, better known as the lush-worthy Aidan Shaw, looked very dapper in a blue suit. He was also joined by his partner, Bo Derek.

Stay tuned for more red carpet coverage. Our friends at OSOYOU are on the ground in New York to bring you all the very latest from the SATC2 world premiere. They are there thanks to HP and their brand new range of Sex and the City products.
