Outrageous singer/dresser, Kelis, has been revealed as the new face to front River Island's Graduate Fashion Week campaign.
With just over a month to go until the next wave of young design talent showcase their creations, this year marks the sixth year that River Island has sponsored GFW. Kelis will front a collection of around 40 pieces that have been designed by previous graduates who now work for the retailer.
The hip hop star follows on from Amber La Bon, who appeared in the ads last year. "People need help and encouragement when they're starting out. That's why I think what River Island is doing with fashion graduates is so great. I don't want to look like everybody else, you know?" said Kelis.
GFW will take place at Earls Court 2, London from 6th to 10th June, 2010.
