isabellablow_alexandermcqueen.jpgSome of Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacey's magnificent creations will soon go under the hammer at an auction of Isabella Blow's wardrobe.

Christie's in South Kensington is where you will find key pieces from the late great editor's archive, which will be auctioned off to settle debts to her estate. The sale on September 15th will no doubt draw great interest, so much so, that it will be accompanied by a coffee table tribute book published by Thames and Hudson.

Among the pieces to be sold off are 50 Treacy hats, 90 designs by McQueen, whose graduate collection Blow famously bought, as well as pieces from John Galliano and Manolo Blahnik. Mark this one on your calendars now.
