CQ Watch: Agyness Deyn's big screen debut
Since revealing that she'd like to try her hand at acting, Agyness Deyn is clocking up a string of admirable on-screen appearances. For her latest project, the British model stars in a 1930s-style short film, Mean to Me, directed by Peter McGough. In the film noir piece, Agy plays a woman living with an older man, played by Law & Order's Linus Roache, of whom she has been tearfully rejected by. So, what are the critics saying? Critics are applauding her performance, with Vanity Fair's George Wayne claiming that she is "incredibly gifted" and could be "the next Faye Dunaway". Big call! Oh and in case you were wondering, all the beautiful vintage-inspired costumes, including Agy's white chiffon-sleeved gown, were created by Zac Posen.
