As Halston's newly-appointed chief creative officer Sarah Jessica Parker was front and center at the label's autumn/winter 2010 show this week.
In his debut for Halston, Marios Schwab reinvented signature pieces into structured vibrant items that reflected his penchant for body-con styling.
Using a palette based on the 1978 film, The Eyes of Laura Mars, Schwab presented draped jersey dresses, fur-sleeved pantsuits, and panel-cut evening gowns in rich taupe, blue, violet and bright red.
"I used the archive from memory, and I wanted to take elements that I love about Halston and transform them," he said.
