Burberry to live stream London Fashion Week show in 3-D!

burberry_runwayshot_fromwebsite.jpgGoing one step ahead of the live streaming concept that so many designers have adopted over the last few seasons is Burberry. The British label is upping the anti with its forthcoming autumn/winter 2010 presentation by live streaming it in 3-D!

Taking inspiration from the worldwide phenomenon that is Avatar, Burberry will invite a select group of editors and VIPs to don a pair of 3-D specs in 'customized screening spaces' throughout Tokyo, Paris, Dubai and New York.

For everyone at home, the show will be streamed in 2-D at live.burberry.com, users can also leave their instant feedback via the brand's Facebook and Twitter pages.

"3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colours and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together," said Bailey.

The British Fashion Council revealed last week that they will stream shows live via the London Fashion Week website.

The presentation of the collection A / W will be a great event. Show their own fashion show in 3D is an innovative idea and quite outside the normal. The clamor and enthusiasm is not only generated more by the expectation of a collection but also by the way of transmitting.
