No one can argue that the master of haute couture is John Galliano for Christian Dior. I always look forward to what the British designer will dish up next and this time it was an theatrical equestrian-inspired collection. Bold tailored riding jackets, top hats and layered gowns to ride side saddle took over the runway. Galliano was inspired by madcap millionairess Millicent Rogers in the era of the "Gibson Girl" - an early twentieth century fashion model for both men and women.
