His number one fan, Cheryl Cole, may have been absent but that didn't stop Stéphane Rolland from lapping up the attention at Paris Couture Week. The young French couturier combined drama with a touch of hi-tech forwardness. Rolland cooperated with a chemist to reduce paint into a workable form which could be painted onto his garments. Other elements which he incorporated into his collection of mostly floor-length evening gowns included laser-cut Pexiglass and Swarovski crystals. I wonder if we'll see any of these grace our television screens in the next season of X Factor?
