Paris Couture Week: Valentino Spring/Summer 2010
It is the couture collection which some critics are calling "desperate" to be cool. However I'm sure Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, the design duo behind Valentino, would disagree. For a fashion house built on sophisticated elegance, it was a whole new direction. Models were wrapped and draped in delicate layers of colourful chiffon to resemble fairytale woodland nymphs.
