2010 is already looking up for Luella Bartley. Not only was she named in the Queen's New Year's Honours list and will receive an MBE, she has just released details of an upcoming book.
The British designer has written a style book, loosely titled Luella's Guide to English Style. Publication of the guide was postponed last year due to Luella's other obligations. Now with more time to focus on the project she hopes to see it released in time for London Fashion Week in September.
"She's doing all the writing herself. It's a style guide," said a spokesperson for publishers, Fourth Estate. "It's not going to be just a book about fashion. It's a work of social anthropology." I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on this one.
