Always usually one step ahead of the game, Vogue Italia has taken inspiration from the social phenomenon that is Twitter for its December issue. The cover is a collage of Twitpic-style photos of models including Lara Stone, Gisele Bündchen, Natalia Vodianova, Christy Turlington and Kasia Struss. Although they appear self-taken and amateurish, they have in fact, been taken under the direction of Steven Meisel - very clever! Just like Franca Sozzani's ground-breaking all-black issue for the mag, this is another one that is bound to get folks talking, or tweeting rather.
