Mag news: Rachel Weisz for British Vogue; V to dedicate Jan issue to plus-size models

voguebritish_rachelweisz_jan2010.jpgBritish Vogue's first issue for the decade has hit stands and it stars the beautiful Rachel Weisz on the cover.

Photographed by Tom Craig in London, the actress is plugging her latest role in the film The Lovely Bones. Rachel describes her character as, "a dreamer who always dresses up - even to go to the laundrette."

In the meantime, it seems as though V magazine are planning on making a statement with their January 2010 issue. The fashion glossy is reportedly dedicating the entire edition to plus-size models.

"Big, little, pint-size, plus-size - every body is beautiful. And this issue is out to prove it," said editor-in-chief, Stephen Gan. Models, including Crystal Renn, will be photographed by the likes of Terry Richardson, Bruce Weber and erm... Karl Lagerfeld?!

Has Count Karl, who recently claimed "no one wants to see curvy women," had a change of heart?

I've always been a fan of plus-size models! There's a great site with many images of plus-size models here:

    They're all gorgeous.

The site's forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.
