Kate Moss joins U.K.'s Performing Rights Society

Thumbnail image for Paris Fashion Week Chanel Fall 09 - Kate Moss.jpgIs Kate Moss about to launch a music career? The supermodel has reportedly registered with the U.K.'s Performing Rights Society which collects royalties for composers and songwriters each time their music is played.

Moss, who famously dated Pete Doherty and co-wrote several songs with him, is said to have joined the society on an "accounting formality" and not because she wants to break into music. Instead, Kate remains focussed on modelling and her Topshop collections.

This conflicts with recent newspaper reports that she is looking to collaborate musically with with her current muso flame, Jamie Hince. Aw, but I think I might enjoy a "Karaoke Kate" album... yes?
