Nominees for 2009 British Fashion Awards announced
The nominees for the British Fashion Awards have been revealed. Set to be held on the 9th December at the Royal Courts of Justice in The Strand, the star-studded event will also bring to a close the 25th anniversary of the British Fashion Council.
Celebrating our top influencers in fashion, with the ultimate accolade reserved for Designer of Year which went to Luella Bartley last year. This year, a one-off London 25 Award will be given to a special person who embodies the spirit of London and can represent our fair city.
Nominees for the Model of the Year Award include Georgia May Jagger, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Daisy Lowe.

Emerging Talent Award for Ready-to-Wear - Peter Pilotto, Meadham Kirchhoff, Mark Fast.
Emerging Talent Award for Accessories - Holly Fulton, Camilla Stovgaard, Jessica McCormack, Maria Francesca Pepe.
Designer Brand award - Burberry, Mulberry and Pringle of Scotland.
Menswear Designer - Graeme Fidler for Aquascutum, Kim Jones for Dunhill, Todd Lynn.
BFC British Collection of the Year - Christopher Kane, Erdem, Jonathan Saunders.
Accessory Designer - Emma Hill for Mulberry, Katie Hillier, Nicholas Kirkwood.
Designer of the Year and the the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator will be announced on the night.
