Yes, yes, yes! Why didn't we think of this earlier? Marks & Spencer plus Ab Fab = super funny ads for the holiday season! Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders have signed on to be the new faces of M&S's Christmas '09 campaign. But that's not all! The funny ladies also join John Sergeant, Stephen Fry and Mark's favourite, Twiggy, in the new ads which hit back at the issue of ageism in British TV.

The theme of this year's campaign is "Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without..." followed by each celebrity naming their key ingredient for the festive season. Comically, Fry answers with: "A little mince. Well, it's only once a year." While Lumley and Saunders say, in their typical Ab Fab tone: "Stuffing... your face, sweetie."

Others to get involved in the mega campaign include actors James Nesbitt, Philip Glenister, M&S models Myleene Klass and Noemie Lenoir, and erm... Wallace and Gromit (!) They really have covered all bases this year haven't they? There are seven commercials in total, which will begin airing on November 11.
