CQ Gallery: 2009 American Music Awards red carpet
The stars were out in full force overnight for the 2009 American Music Awards. From some of Hollywood's youngest stars to the seasoned professionals, it was a celeb-fest for anyone that was lucky enough to get close to the red carpet. Nicole Kidman accompanied hubby Keith Urban in a floor-length asymmetrical Balenciaga gown which featured sheer panelling. There was a little bit of leg on show thanks to Shakira's yellow number and Leona Lewis's dramatic shiny black frock (not sure if I'm loving the pointy bra section). Meanwhile, Rihanna turned heads in a black and white laser-cut dress by Marchesa and bringing the feminine touch was Carrie Underwood, sporting a new curled bob.
