racheladedeji_xfactor.jpgUpdate: Looks like I was right - Rachel's dress is, in fact, by Manish Arora! Her blue strappy shoes were from Topshop Unique.

Much has been made lately over Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue's lavish wardrobes on X Factor. And rightly so.

Those ladies have been busy working every designer from Alexander McQueen to Atelier Versace lately - did you catch Cheryl in that white asymmetrical number on Saturday night? *wolf whistles*

I was also delighted to see Dannii glimmering in a floor-length gown by Aussie designers, J'Aton Couture - that's one for her homegrown compatriots!

But it was Rachel Adedeji who caught my eye (and yours). While perhaps it's best to leave the obvious comparisons to Stacey Solomon out of it, what I really want to know is what you thought of her sparkly patchwork minidress?

So far, I haven't been able ID the designer - Manish Arora maybe? But it's certainly left many of you in a tizz. Ironically, Rachel admits that she has very little say in what she wears on the show:

"I know that they [X Factor wardrobe department] will take care of me and find what suits me best," she said. "There is no celeb really that inspires my personal style; I wear what I feel and what feels good and comfortable to me. But if I had to choose one celeb it would be Agyness Deyn."

Hmm... I was thinking more along the lines of Rihanna.

[Psst... Thanks to RCFA for the J'Aton ID and Gemma, our former ed-in-chief and now editor of Big Girls Browse / Image: Rex Features]
