Psst... Has Gossip Girl got its mitts on Victoria Beckham?

It looks like Victoria Beckham is headed back to the small screen with a guest role lined up for Gossip Girl.

While she is certainly no stranger to US TV appearances (cue her cameo in Ugly Betty) Victoria was reportedly persuaded to join the cast by Blake Lively, who is said to be a fan of her fashion collection.

"Blake attended the unveiling of Victoria's new collection in New York last month, alongside the series' stylist Eric Damen," said a source.

"The trio started chatting and Victoria revealed she was a huge fan of the show. From here, Blake pleaded with her to guest star in an episode and ran the idea past producers."

She is due to fly to New York this week to film her scenes. But I am dubious... after all, whatever happened to that rumoured guest role in the upcoming SATC film sequel, huh? I suppose she would give Queen Blair a run for her money.
