The tuxedo is enjoying a bit of a revival at the moment, but one that's taking place almost entirely in the womenswear section. Waistcoats, tuxedo dresses and frock coats are big again, as are the dandyish accessories that go with them.
Temperley's Spring/Summer '10 show at London Fashion Week reference the look most heavily, with dusky-eyed models in monochrome and two-tone jumpsuits and dresses featuring black tie tailoring. Accessories included scaled-down top hats and bow ties. Jean-Paul Gaultier's models also wore (very) pared down suits and dark makeup.
