Agent Provocateur signs new fragrance deal

agentprovocateur_maitresse.jpgJoe Corre may be out, but this isn't stopping Agent Provocateur from going full-steam ahead. The lingerie brand is planning more fragrances after signing a ten-year deal with British distributor, Designer Parfums.

"This... deal enhances our long-term strategy to offer a global marketing, manufacturing and distribution service," said Dilesh Mehta, managing director of Designer Parfums.

Previous AP scents include its signature perfume as well as Maîtresse. Further fragrance launches are slated from 2010 onwards.

Earlier this month, founder Joe Corre quit the label he began with his then-wife Serena Rees. It is believed that he still holds a major stake in the company.
