BFC Chairman Harold Tillman has stepped in to return Aquascutum to UK owners. The previous owners were Japanese company Renown Incorporated who have held ownership since 1990.
Tillman, along with Jaeger CEO Belinda Earl acquired the luxury fashion label and plan to manage to two brands alongside each other. This makes sense as Jaeger and Aquascutum both cross over in terms of market. Aquascutum has been trading since 1851 and has supplied clothing to the Royal family as well as Lauren Bacall and Sophia Loren.
