Pixie Geldof, Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal dropped from Select Models
London's party circuit will be in mourning today as it was revealed that Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof (pictured with Select model scout Sarah Leon) and Alice Dellal have all been dropped by Select Model Management.
Select, who up until now had all three women on their books confirmed: "It's correct we no longer have a talent section in our agency. This included girls such as Lowe and Geldof but we cannot comment on individuals because of legal issues."
Rumours are flying around about the cause of the rift between the company and the girls. It's been suggested that the agency wasn't too happy about the trio's party lifestyle, but it could simply come down to a cost-cutting measure. Jump through to compare the girls' modelling careers.
How they measure up:
Pixie Geldof was signed to Select at 16, she appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue earlier this year, and more recently modelled Giles Deacon's pre-collection. Pixie has also appeared as the face of New Look's Limited Edition Collection last year which although popular was far less successful than Alexa Chung's modelling stint for the company.
Daisy Lowe was spotted in Camden at the age of 15 and has gone on to become the face of Marc by Marc Jacobs and DKNY. She has also appeared in a controversial campaign for Agent Provocateur along with Pixie's sister Peaches as well as baring all for a saucy Terry Richardson shoot for Pirelli. Daisy made news recently when reports surfaced that she was 'too fat' too model.
Brazillian heiress Alice Dellal was signed at 19 by Select, and has been one of the less prolific celebu-spawn signings. Dellal has appeared in campaigns for Burberry, Mango and Agent Provocateur.
