Oxford Street to launch the first ever High Street Fashion Week!

oxfordstreet_uniqlo_shopfront.jpgSquee! We are super excited about this slice of news.

Oxford Street is launching the first ever High Street Fashion Week, and so far has roped in leading retailers such as Debenhams, John Lewis, Uniqlo and Topman.

Next month, shoppers will be asked to vote for which celebrity is their favourite "High Street Queen" (ooh... tricky one!) and the winner will be invited to join in. Festivities will include workshops, fashion shows, makeovers, late-night shopping and in-store promotions.

Several others including Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Selfridges and Marks & Spencer are also in talks to participate.

The event is slated for the week of September 7th, in the lead-up to London Fashion Week which kicks off on September 18th to 22nd.

So, which celeb would you vote for the title of High Street Queen? Cheryl Cole or Princess Beatrice perhaps? Tell us below.
