Italian fashion house Missoni are one of the most distinctive labels, their stripy zigzag knits are their signature look and have been widely copied.

The husband and wife team of Ottavio and Rosita Missoni have been making their trademark knits since the '60s and 'Workshop Missoni: Daring To Be Different' a retrospective of their work launched yesterday at Estorick. The exhibition throws open their creative process, showing the sketchbooks, drawings and notes that lead to the final product. It is accompanied by The Black and White of Colour, a thirty-minute documentary profile produced by Maggie Norden of the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
