Looks like Big Brother's Kayley could have used Flying Saucer's tips!

You've spent months, maybe weeks, moaning about exams and looking forward to the summer holidays. Now they're finally here and you're bored! Apart from a weekend in Butlins with the fam' or a girly week in Malia with endless cocktails, there isn't much to do! So here are some ideas of how to spend your time. They may be childish but they're cheap, fun, and much better than watching daytime TV in pjs!

♥ There are loads of discount trains and coaches on offer- close your eyes, click a destination and go on an adventure with your mates.

♥ Get a library book or go onine to search for beauty products you can make at home. Apples, yoghurt and oats are great ingredients for face and hair masks that you can whip up to pamper yourself.

♥ Dust off the video player in the garage and watch loads of old movies that you used to watch back-to-back when you were a kid. Disney is the best!

Read on for the rest...

♥ Grab the local paper and check out any local carboot sales. You could even make a stall yourself to get some spare cash.

♥ Rather than meeting your mates in the pub, invite them round early for a total day of pampering and nibbling before going out.

♥ Volunteer in a charity shop. If you're yawning right now, just think that you will get your hands on all the best stuff first. It will also look great on your CV!

♥ Have a clear out and sell it all on eBay! Remember to take clear pictures and a detailed description. then hit the summer sales with a heavy purse!

♥ Do a 'Come Dine With Me' night with the family, and spend all day preparing a starter, main and dessert. You get to eat your favourite food and get some Brownie points from your parents!

♥ Finally make scrap books of all those old magazines. Create separate books for makeup looks and seasons, and recycle what you don't need.

♥ Create a new hairstyle without heat! Use rag rolling, curlers and pins. Check out youtube for tutorials.

♥ Get hold of a polaroid camera from eBay or a charity shop and have a photo sesh' with your mates. If you can't find one, download a programme to turn your snaps into polaroids!

♥ Have a classic movie night with your friends. Make homemade cocktails and popcorn and watch the movies starring the hottest guys!

♥ There is nothing more satisfying than colour coding! Your wardrobe, makeup, shoes- secret pleasures!

♥ Browse makeup tutorials on YouTube and try one out just for a day of shopping. Rake in the compliments!

♥ Try out some fake eyelashes. Get a cheap pair and practice sticking them on bare eyes, then save them for a night out. Practice makes perfect!

♥ Go swimming. Check out the timetable and go for a ladies (or mens) swim. You'll feel great after and it may become a healthy habit!

♥ Get up really early. Be ready and dressed by 8am? Then you'll have the whole day to do whatever you choose. Even if you can't decide for a few hours, you will still have all day!

♥ Take out your grandparents. Take them to see a movie or for lunch. It's a chance to see those feel-good movies that nobody else will see with you!

♥ Dye your hair! This could mean taking the all over plunge, getting a wash-out tint, or spraying a neon streak.

♥ Raid your parents' wardrobe, or any relative who will let you! Who knows what you might find or be able to customise.
