emmawatson_christopherkane_wwdinterview.jpgWith the premiere of the latest Harry Potter film, a Burberry campaign, and covers for Teen Vogue and Elle, it seems that Emma Watson is everywhere right now.

In an interview with WWD, the actress has spoken about dressing for the red carpet, college, and the prospect of designing her own line. Recently, rumours that Emma would be designing a range to aide UNICEF turned out to be false.

"I'm really not interested in doing it for my own ego. I'm not a designer. If someone asked me to do something that was beneficial to a cause, then maybe I'd consider it, but not just [to be able to say] 'Look at me! I've got my own line!'" she says.

"[It's] gotten so ridiculous. The idea of making my own perfume makes me want to vomit."

When it comes to red carpet dressing, Emma is becoming quite the expert, with designers such as Proenza Schouler and Christopher Kane scrambling to get their gear on her.

"You feel like you're gearing up for a marathon. I've really enjoyed having personal relationships with designers. It's amazing to be able to go to them directly," she says.

For those times when she isn't turning it on for the paps, she likes to hit the high-street shopping at Reiss to find blazers that "aren't massive" on her which she wears T-shirts, jeans and All Saints lace-up boots.

On the subject of colleges, she still doesn't wish to disclose where she will be studying in the States come September, in order to avoid a media obsession.

"I'm wondering if it was a mistake not to talk about where I'm going. Maybe it would have been better if I'd just said. The whole reason I'm going is to try and be normal for a bit."

As for continuing acting after she is done with Potter, she adds: "I'm not desperate to take on a really adult role. I'm happy to work on whatever comes along. At college, you get five months off a year. That's loads of time to do projects."
