Christian Audigier to show in Paris, collaborate with Madonna and recruit Peter Andre to be a model?!
News involving Christian Audigier continues to flood in by the hour, or so it seems! Following on from our story yesterday regarding the future of his collection with Michael Jackson, and his plans to move into the Holmby Hills mansion where Jackson died, comes another three more updates.
The Ed Hardy designer, who is currently in Berlin for Fashion Week, has revealed that he plans to show his eponymous label at Paris Fashion Week in October. He has also promised a performance by a "big celebrity name" - is it Madonna perhaps?
Our second Audigier tidbit is that he is collaborating with Madge on what will be called The Material Girl Project. A clothing collection aimed at "seven-year-olds to 77-year-olds" that is due to come out in September.
"Madonna is a good choice because she comes into it a total pro... Does she have loads of ideas? Oh, of course. I had a meeting a month ago with her and she is really all about the detail. She knows exactly what she likes and is always proposing ideas to us. After that she decides whether she wants to add shoes or other things," he said.
Meanwhile, the oddest bit of gossip we've heard today is that Audigier wants to sign up Peter Andre to model for him. The 36-year-old has reportedly lost a stone since his split from Katie Price and is now a possibility to front a new European ad campaign for Ed Hardy.
"Christian is launching a new store in London this year and Peter will be a big part of that promotion," a source revealed.
Sounds like he's got the whole world covered.
