Actress Lake Bell blew the competition away at the Whitney Contemporaries Art Party in New York last night. Who knew Max Azria could be so fierce?!
The coral-red dress comes alive with the harness-like embroidery and really brings back our Star Trek fan years. Built-up shoulders add a trend touch but the drapey fabric keeps it looking subtle. Most of the Whitney guests opted for a variation on the perfectly respectable Hervé Leger bandage dress but a frock like Bell's clearly blows them out of the water.
